| The way that people look at a football game is under the anxiety of the score. A preconception or desire of the result is put under the way the game is seen. A whole context surrounds the game itself most of the times deviating the focus of the spectator from the central object of the game – the ball. Following Football shows only the path of the ball during a live television broadcast. Drawing performances take place for 45 minutes. Each drawing is an attempt to map the trajectory of the ball during a half time of a football match. There is an anxiety present in the way this performance takes place, however, a different one. In this case, it has got to do with the prediction of both the movement of the ball and the movement of the camera. The chosen games are from the final stage of the Champions League 2011. |
