The use of a doorbell is extremely common not only in the everyday life of people in present time but as well in the cinematographic representation of our times. In fact, it is such banal situation in movies that when people get asked to remember films with doorbell situation, few are the ones who remember and even less are the scenes remembered.
50 doorbell ringing scenes were sampled from feature films. These samples are played randomly on an LCD display when the doorbell on the door is rang.

This piece aims to:
1) underpin these situations and have audiences remembering them;
2) make audiences experience the feature film situation in a real and live three dimensions set;
3) create a database of doorbell ringing situations that otherwise fall into oblivion;
4) provoque a reflection on the possibility of an unexpected situation behind a door;
5) understand how viewers interact with this kind of interactive art an art gallery or similar situation.
