Desynchronism is the first piece questioning neural connections to music and rhythmic patterns. These connections reflect social, cultural and time-space situations as well as the ability to express those thoughts. People are asked to think about a sound and express it under a given metronome tempo through headphones. The result is a seven channel video showing seven people making sound synchronized, turned into a short piece of music. The “Desynchronism” comes, not from the resulting sound, but from the individual neural connections. |
Desynchronism pictures will be uploaded soon. Thanks for your interest. |
